FLEET INSURANCE

COMMERCIAL FLEET Vehicle insurance is required under the Road Traffic Act for vehicles operating on the public highway. Wallace Insurance Brokers have negotiated unique rates and schemes for all levels of cover from Third Party Fire and Theft to Comprehensive to suit your individual requirements. Facilities are also available for young drivers abd directors personal vehicles. Hired vehicles, specialist vehicles such as a minibus or modified vehicle/s can be accommodated. A Fleet policy can be arranged with numerous vehicles being added to the same policy. Most insurers require five or more vehiclest o qualify for such a policy. Traditional vehicle no claims bonus does not apply under Fleet insurance. Premiums are based on Vehicle numbers/type and claims experience. MULTI VEHICLE POLICY An alternative to Fleet insurance is a multi-vehicle policy can be arranged with numerous vehicles being added to the same policy with each vehicle earning individual bonus ( i.e. Not a Fleet Type Policy).

MOTOR INSURANCE COVER TYPES

 

1) Third Party Cover - This insures your liability to others in the case of a car crash or other motor vehicle incident. This includes death or injury to anybody (but not death or injury to employees while they are working, as they are covered by employers liability insurance.

 

2) Fire and Theft (third party) - This is an optional addition to your third party cover.

 

3) Comprehensive Insurance Cover - (Including the above) This covers you in the event of accidental damage regardless of whose fault it was.
